Evan O. Adams (b. 1996) is some dude with a guitar who composes relentlessly rhythmic and unashamedly absurd music that often features gentle sounds inspired by progressive rock and jazz-fusion. His music has been performed by world-class artists and ensembles such as JACK Quartet, Quince Ensemble, loadbang, Beo String Quartet, and the NYU Percussion Ensemble.

Evan received an M.M. in Music Theory and Composition from New York University in 2020, where he studied under Julia Wolfe, Robert Honstein, and Ezequiel Viñao. Studying under Joseph Klein, Claudia Howard Queen, and Andrew May, Evan attended the University of North Texas where he earned his B.M. in Music Composition in 2018.
